Trump admits to asking for a review of Balogun's red card, calls referee 'suspicious'

US President Donald Trump said on Monday (Jul 6) that he called FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the red card shown to US striker Folarin Balogun, saying he did not think it was a foul and describing the referee as "suspicious" based on his past.

"I didn't think it was a foul. I thought it was two great athletes who crashed into each other and got entangled."
