*President Cyril Ramaphosa has applauded work being done by the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry and says he will listen to their request should they ask for more time.
The Commission was established after Kwazulu-Natal Police Comissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi alleged in a media briefing that there was political interference, corruption and infiltration by criminal networks in the criminal justice system.

*A third suspect is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court today after handing herself over at the Edenvale Police Station yesterday, in connection with the alleged theft of precious metals and stones worth almost fifteen million rand in Johannesburg in 2023.

*The Police Cold Case Unit has raided at least four properties in Centurion, Pretoria, regarding the murder investigation into the death of Deputy National commissioner for crime detection, Sindile Mfazi and a person of interest is being questioned.
