Thousands of runners raise funds to fight GBV

Thousands of runners from different parts of the country raised funds for a Non-Profit Organization,dedicated to fighting Gender-Based-Violence, and advocating for the rights of GBV survivors in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

The Greater Rape Intervention Programme lost half of its funding when the United States of America abruptly cut its aid for South African health services and research projects.

The race was run under the theme hash tag Celebrate Her - in the spirit of Mandela Day.
