Trump confirms he called FIFA to review U.S. red card

U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed he called FIFA president Gianni Infantino and asked for a review of a red card given to U.S. striker Folarin Balogun last week.

Following the phone call, FIFA suspended the red card, clearing Balogun to face Belgium in Monday's World Cup match. The decision has been widely derided, with European soccer body UEFA calling it 'unjustifiable.'
