Indonesia and Singapore will resolve differences 'as friends': Prabowo

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Monday (Jul 6) highlighted the close partnership between Indonesia and Singapore, saying stability and prosperity are in both countries' "shared interest".

Mr Prabowo said peace and stability are goals both nations must work towards “tirelessly" because "it is not something that will come by itself”. He added that any misunderstandings or differences should be resolved openly "as friends".

Mr Prabowo was speaking during the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders' Retreat with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in Jakarta, where the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. #indonesia #indonesianews
