During External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar's visit to Helsinki, Finland's Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said that relations between the two countries "have never been better", highlighting vast opportunities to deepen cooperation. Finland's Foreign Minister, identified business, trade, investment, digitalisation, the green transition, security, space and emerging technologies as key areas for future collaboration. Valtonen also welcomed progress towards the EU–India Free Trade Agreement, calling it a strong foundation for expanding bilateral cooperation.
