Eastern Cape residents in KuGompo City have called for those implicated in the Madlanga Commission to be held accountable.

Today marks a year since KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi held a media briefing about the alleged infiltration of law enforcement and the judiciary by organised crime.

The media briefing led President Cyril Ramaphosa to establish the Madlanga Commission and Parliament's Ad Hoc Committee to investigate
