Singapore Heart Foundation to train 1 million community first responders

Singapore recorded a new high of 4,058 out-of-hospital cardiac arrest cases in 2022 - up 12% from the previous year. That's according to latest data released by the Singapore Heart Foundation. The social service agency is aiming to train one million community first responders over the next five years. Researchers are also testing lightweight portable AEDs to make life-saving equipment more accessible. Alxis Thng reports.
