Jazz Music | McCoy Mrubata & Gary Wittner's Winter Tour celebrates 20 years of music collaboration

South African jazz legend McCoy Mrubata is hosting celebrated American guitarist, Gary Wittner for the July SA Winter Tour, from Cape Town to Polokwane, and every stop in-between.

Respected for his signature sound, a mix of township swing, Marabi memory, and modern improvisation will be met by Gary answering, challenging, and lifting it.

The tour also features workshops and masterclasses with students, young players, and curious listeners.

Audiences can expect talk on improvisation, cross-cultural collaboration, and how to sustain a life in jazz.
