Fraud-accused Coetzee second bail application dismissed

Fraud-accused Janitha van Reenen-Coetzee's second bail application has been dismissed in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court in the Vaal. She is accused of defrauding the Emfuleni Local Municipality of more than R400 000. She allegedly misrepresented herself as an independent agent who could assist residents to apply for discounts on outstanding municipal accounts, but investigators claim she misappropriated their money.
