External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said India has emerged as one of Africa’s largest trading partners and bilateral investors, with strong growth in trade and mutual investments.

India’s development cooperation — spanning energy, agriculture, water supply, transport, healthcare, education, and digital connectivity — remains focused on African priorities and local ownership.

From ITEC training programmes to ICCR scholarships and institutions like IIT Zanzibar and NFSU Uganda, India continues to strengthen people-centric ties across the continent.
