Death toll rises to 10 after child driver crashes into monks in Thailand

The death toll from a crash involving an 11-year-old boy with special needs who drove his grandparents' truck into a procession of Buddhist monks in Thailand has risen to 10 as of Friday (Jul 3).

Ten others remain hospitalised, with some in critical condition with severe bone fractures and brain trauma.

As the boy is under the age of 12 and exempt from criminal punishment, authorities have advised victims' families that they may pursue civil lawsuits against his parents. #thainews #thailand
