John didn’t realise he had pancreatic cancer until he taught a workshop on the disease, now the 68-year-old is living on borrowed time, and determined to make every second count. The health worker was given months to live after finding out his disease was stage 4 and terminal, but as he grapples with mortality, his will to live in what time he has left is inspiring. He now spends his time planning, fundraising, and creating awareness for what is commonly considered ‘the forgotten cancer’. John spoke with the ABC's Amy Culpitt for Stateline Northern Territory.
