A massive Russian overnight aerial attack on Kyiv claimed at least 21 lives and wounded some 90 people more. It came amid a successful Ukrainian campaign of long-range strikes on strategic Russian targets. Our defense correspondent, Zuzanna Jurek, has the latest.

- EU OPENS MARKET TO ARMENIAN GOODS AMID RUSSIAN ECONOMIC PRESSURE
EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a new trade deal between Brussels and Yerevan, which is to remove tariffs on 80% of Armenian exports to the bloc. This comes as the South Caucasus country aims to distance itself from Russia’s sphere of influence.

- CAN LICENSED U.S. WEAPONS BRIDGE EUROPE’S SECURITY GAP?
Berlin is reportedly pushing Washington to allow more American weapons to be built in Germany. The move, to be discussed further at the upcoming NATO summit in Ankara, seeks to bridge Europe’s military gaps while keeping the U.S. invested in the continent’s defense.
