Beitbridge border congestion eases

The long queue of heading for the Beitbridge Border Post near Musina in Limpopo, has finally started moving.

The line now stretches over about eight kilometres, compared to the 20 kilometres reported at the weekend.

The progress follows meetings between South African and Zimbabwean authorities in an effort to ease the congestion, caused by screening delays in Zimbabwe.

Truck drivers waiting to cross the border, have also raised concerns about their safety.
