After half a century of operation, the Liddell Power Station in the NSW Hunter Valley has been demolished.
Explosives were packed into the bases of two 170-metre chimneys to bring them down.
AGL has plans for a renewable energy hub on the site, including the 500-megawatt Liddell Battery.
