Escalating tension in the Strait of Hormuz has left fishermen in southern Iran unable to access traditional fishing grounds.
Ebrahim, who has worked these waters for more than two decades, says colleagues have been killed or gone missing amid the conflict.
He and his sons are now forced to fish closer to shore, where catches are scarce and fuel costs mount. Several fishermen remain unaccounted for, with bodies reportedly recovered in Oman awaiting identification.
