China has criticized Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's so-called "free and open Indo-Pacific" vision, with Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun saying at a Thursday press briefing in Beijing that it runs counter to regional aspirations for peace, development and cooperation.
