The UN has warned that rapidly improving artificial intelligence capabilities may lead to catastrophic outcomes, if they remain unchecked. A new report noted that policymakers are struggling to keep up with AI governance and warned that the tech's rapid spread may worsen existing inequalities. Mitch McCann reports from New York.
