If you've been watching the ongoing FIFA World Cup, you may have noticed something unusual. Players are being sent off for what seems like a harmless gesture - covering their mouths during a confrontation. Paraguay's Miguel Almiron became the first player to see red under this new rule, while Ecuador's Piero Hincapie was also dismissed for the same offence during a match against Mexico.
