FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, has defended the way soccer's governing body has handled visa issues ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Infantino says they are working to find solutions, but could not override government decisions. Among other issues, the FIFA president also addressed its ticketing prices and Iran's participation in the tournament.
Meanwhile, protests by different social movements are planned for Mexico City ahead of the opening ceremony and tournament opener between Mexico and South Africa.
