Madlanga Commission | Lawyers tell probe that Maj-Gen Khan is 'sedated'

Lawyers for Crime Intelligence Officer, Major-General Feroz Khan, have invited the Madlanga Commission to check Khan's condition in hospital.

He is apparently sedated and intubated. This is seemingly to disprove what Khan's lawyers call, allegations that the weekend shooting which left Khan wounded was 'contrived'.

Khan was due to testify at the inquiry today, however, this was halted by the recent developments. SABC News Senior Reporter Canny Maphanga has more.
