Russia jails three in #LGBT community #crackdown

Russia has intensified its crackdown on the LGBT community, sentencing three people linked to an LGBT venue to more than 15 years of combined prison time.

The convictions come months after the Supreme Court labeled the LGBT movement extremist, as the Kremlin expands censorship of LGBT symbols in public life and popular culture.
