'I feel hugged by the country I live in': Venezuelan in China raises $13k for earthquake relief

After devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela, Shanghai-based Venezuelan Nanda Nieves launched a grassroots fundraising campaign on social media. In just two days, the campaign raised more than 90,000 yuan (about $13,000). Nieves said she never expected such overwhelming support, describing it as the strength of the community in China.
