#Czech #Party calls for stripping #Zelenskyy of Czech Republic's highest #honor

Czech politicians are also displeased with the Ukrainian president’s application of the UPA name.

The Polish daily Rzeczpospolita reports that the Czech Freedom and Direct Democracy party is calling for Zelenskyy to be stripped of Prague’s highest honor, the Order of the White Lion.

The news article notes, though, that by law state decorations can only be revoked in the Czech Republic if the award recipient has been convicted of a serious crime – making the removal of Zelenskyy's order unlikely.
