11 people charged after probe into police killing of Quebec teen

On Tuesday, Montreal police announced that 11 people are now facing charges following an investigation into the events preceding the 2025 killing of 15-year-old Nooran Rezayi. Rezayi, who was unarmed, was shot dead by Longueuil police seconds after officers parked their cruiser while responding to a 911 call.

Police say the suspects were between 13 and 17 years old at the time of the shooting.
