June 30 | Undocumented foreign nationals arrested in Soweto

Four undocumented Mozambican nationals have been arrested in Mapetla, Soweto, after community members and leaders alerted police to their whereabouts.

The arrests followed a complaint by their landlord, who faced a R10,000 fine for allegedly harbouring undocumented immigrants.

Police have taken the four into custody as investigations continue.
