"We can't travel far, but we'll salute," says one elderly Chinese veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953). His portrait, along with 99 others, now stands in silent formation in Shenyang's Heping Square. On April 22, the remains of 12 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) soldiers who died during the war were returned to #China from the Republic of Korea (ROK). A nation stands in remembrance. Veterans raise their salute. And after decades, the fallen have finally come home. #CPVMartyrs
