A new development in the Polish-Swedish defense cooperation: Poland has struck a deal for the purchase of three A26 submarines from Sweden. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his Swedish counterpart Ulf Kristersson signed the contract in the Polish port city of Gdynia on Monday.

“No one will ever dictate how we live, how we speak, who we love, who we should be grateful to, or which heroes we should honor,” said Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announcing the submission of a draft law to the Ukrainian Parliament on the establishment of a National Pantheon to honor distinguished Ukrainians. This, as the spat over history between Poland and Ukraine continues.

- RUSSIA REJECTS UKRAINE'S PROPOSAL AND CONTINUES ATTACKS
A mutual halt to long-range strikes as a step towards peace – that was Ukraine’s proposal for Russia, which Moscow refused, citing the control of four key regions – Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia – as a key condition to their peace deal. Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to strike Russian refineries, affecting the Kremlin’s war efforts.
