2 taken to hospital after ammonia detected at Fishery Port Road compound

Two people were taken to hospital for exposure to ammonia vapour on Monday (Jun 29) after an ammonia leak at a Fishery Port Road compound in Jurong. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that upon their arrival, ammonia was detected within the premises’ compound, and the area was then evacuated. The hazardous materials (HazMat) specialists managed to trace the leak to a pipe in a room within the premises. #singapore #sgnews
