Kuruman Floods | 82 villages cut off, 2,000 displaced by heavy rains

Several roads and bridges in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality in Kuruman, Northern Cape, have been flooded and destroyed after heavy rains battered the area.

Eighty-two villages are completely cut off, with more than 2-thousand households displaced and severely impacted.

Gift of the Givers teams travelled from the Western Cape overnight, with essential supplies for families without shelter.
