US prosecutors charged Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and alleged associates over the 2023 killing of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. The charges are part of “Operation Hard Ball”, an international crackdown that charged 37 alleged gang members.
