LGE 2026 | Voters promised self-sustainable municipalities

United Democratic Movement President Bantu Holomisa is promising voters self-sustainable municipalities that will prioritise local economic development, public health care and crime free communities. Holomisa launched the official 2026 local government elections Manifesto in KuGompo City in the Eastern Cape on Saturday. The party's manifesto is presented in a twelve pillars form that Holomisa described as practical commitments designed to address the daily realities faced by South Africans. Sidima Mfeku reports.
