Pritam Singh says incorrect to say position was challenged; 'very pleased' with WP CEC election

Workers' Party chief Pritam Singh on Sunday (Jun 28) disagreed that his position was challenged at the party's special cadres' conference. Instead, he explained that petitioners had called for a vote — allowed under the party's constitution — and that the party "respect(s) that process".

Mr Singh also added that he was pleased with the outcome of the party's Central Executive Committee elections which followed the special conference. #singapore #sgnews
