FIFA World Cup 2026 | Free State ready for Bafana's do-or-die match

Residents of Bohlokong are expected to gather in large numbers at Bohlokong Stadium to celebrate and support Bafana Bafana after the national team secured a historic place in the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

South Africa booked their spot in the Round of 32 with a 1-nil (1-0) victory over South Korea, marking the country's first-ever progression to the knockout stages of the tournament.

Bafana Bafana will now face Canada tonight.

The community viewing event will also feature former teacher and talent scout, Mr.Charles Molefe, who first identified Bafana Bafana star Teboho Mokoena during his school days, as well as the midfielder's former grassroots coach.

Community members are invited to come together and rally behind the national team as they continue their historic World Cup journey.
