Ebola cases jump as Congo tightens travel rules

The Democratic Republic of Congo has announced stricter domestic travel controls, requiring people returning from the epicentre of the Ebola outbreak, the Ituri province, to undergo a 21-day quarantine before travelling abroad.

The new measure follows confirmation of a case in France involving a doctor who treated Ebola patients in the DRC.
