Tropical Storm Mekkhala leaves Taiwan underwater

Tropical Storm Mekkhala has triggered severe flooding across parts of Taiwan before bringing torrential rain and transport disruption to Japan. The storm has left homes underwater, damaged property and prompted flood, landslide and evacuation warnings.
