Bloody Russian attack on Kyiv: At least 12 dead, dozens wounded | Morning Report

AT LEAST 12 KILLED IN MASSIVE RUSSIAN ATTACK ON KYIV
At least 12 people have been killed and more than 30 wounded in Ukraine after Russia launched a barrage of drones and missiles at Kyiv shortly after midnight. Another round of explosions was heard in the capital shortly after six am local time.

ROMANIA REPORTS DRONE CRASH
Romania’s Defense Ministry says a drone crashed on Romanian territory during a Russian attack on neighboring Ukraine early Thursday. Officials say the drone came down in an unpopulated area of the eastern Tulcea region.

UKRAINE HITS KEY RUSSIAN ENERGY SITES
Ukrainian UAVs have reportedly hit a series of key power and oil infrastructure targets deep inside Russia overnight Wednesday to Thursday. Unverified social media footage appears to show drones striking an oil refinery, in Nizhnekamsk, in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, as Kyiv continues its campaign of what it calls “long-range sanctions.”
