“Every #survivor was tortured”: #Interview with Kateryna Osadcha

Kateryna Osadcha has spent years helping families find loved ones who disappeared during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. But for those who return from captivity, the nightmare often doesn’t end there.

“I do not know a single person who returned from captivity without having been tortured,” she says in an exclusive interview with TVP World.

In the conversation, Osadcha recounts testimonies of former civilian prisoners, describes the fight to bring them home, and reveals why volunteers refuse to give up hope despite the immense human cost.
