Immigration Tensions | SA Parliament pushes to clear foreign inmates from local prisons

Parliament wants foreign offenders moved out of South African prisons sooner, by changing the law to let them serve the remainder of their sentences in their home countries.

It said that the move could ease overcrowding in South African prisons and save billions of rands.
