Thousands of undocumented Malawians in Durban face repatriation delays

The KwaZulu-Natal government is concerned they might not process all undocumented immigrants camped in Durban.

With the June 30th deadline less than five days away, officials concede it is highly unlikely everyone will be attended to in time.

From just the visuals we've been broadcasting from the repatriation centres this week, it became patently clear that this process would never be concluded before the 30th of June.

Government is now conceding, it won't be possible, so what are they saying becomes the new plan to deal with the scores of migrants gathered at the repatriation centres?
