USA to provide aid for quake-ravaged Venezuela

US President Donald Trump says the country will provide aid for quake-ravaged Venezuela.

Hundreds of people in Venezuela were trapped under rubble and many more remained unaccounted for on Thursday after two powerful earthquakes devastated areas in and around the capital Caracas, killing nearly 190 people, damaging hundreds of buildings and leaving thousands homeless.

A magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck about 160 km west of Caracas on Wednesday, followed less than a minute later by a magnitude 7.5 tremor.
