Ep.25 [K-STAGE] National Dance Company of Korea 《Home》

The National Dance Company of Korea’s new production, 《Home》, draws inspiration from Kim Sung-ok’s poem of the same name, translating the poem’s sentiment into the language of the body.
It portrays the longing and regret associated with a mother’s embrace, to which one can never return, as well as life’s dazzling moments, all while showcasing the emotional depth and delicate movements of Korean dance.

국립무용단 신작 《귀향》은 김성옥의 시 「귀향」에서 모티브를 얻어, 시가 품은 서정적 정서를 몸의 언어로 써내려간 작품이다
돌아갈 수 없는 어머니 품에 대한 그리움과 회환, 그리고 인생의 눈부신 순간을 아련하게 그려내며 한국춤의 고유한 정서와 섬세한 움직임이 돋보인다
