North West SAPS tighten border security

Police in North West say security at ports of entry in the province will be reinforced ahead of the June 30 deadline for the expulsion of undocumented foreigners. Speaking during a press briefing in Mahikeng, acting Provincial Police Commissioner Major-General Ryno Naidoo, highlighted that this is in anticipation of a high influx of immigrants who may rush to the ports to return to their countries of origin.
