Iceland kills first whales since 2023 after resuming commercial hunt

Iceland has killed its first whales since 2023, after resuming commercial hunting. Two whales were killed off the coast of Iceland, ending a two-year hiatus on the controversial practice. Animal welfare organisations and members of the public expressed their opposition to the practice.
