Madlanga Commission | Mkhwanazi's ex lays bare alleged EMPD criminality

The Madlanga Commission has heard testimony from suspended EMPD Deputy Chief, Julius Mkhwanazi's former girlfriend, Witness K.

She revealed that the 2023 incident involving precious stones, worth R14.9 million, was allegedly a 'planned robbery' by officers on behalf of a third party.

The Commission's focus has returned to the alleged criminality that engulfed the City of Ekurhuleni, including a string of allegations of theft, truck hijacking and more.

All under the apparent command of an allegedly financially deprived Julius Mkhwanazi. Canny Maphanga has more.
