Boiketlong, NW | Six bodies discovered in three weeks

It is known as a murder hot-spot in the North West province. And residents of Boitekong and surrounding areas are afraid for their lives after six bodies were found in a space of three weeks. The victims, many in their 30s, all vanished weeks apart on a Thursday, and were found ten to fourteen days later. Residents believe this may be the work of a serial killer, who dumps the victims in the river. According to fourth quarter crime statistics, Rustenburg leads the province in murder cases, but ranks 15th nationwide. The Boitekong Police Station, where the discovery of these bodies was reported, ranks in the top four for murder cases in the North West. Tebogo Phakedi has more.
