Mogotsi Case | Mogotsi allegedly tried to intimidate neighbour

The Johannesburg Magistrate's Court has heard that North West businessman, Brown Mogotsi, tried to intimidate a neighbour three times, to change her statement about where he lived. The state claims that on one of those occasions, Mogotsi called his wife while he was in prison, who allegedly gave the phone to their neighbour in a bid to rattle her. Mogotsi was previously denied bail over inconsistencies with his residential address. He was arrested shortly after testifying at the Madlanga Commission in Pretoria. He currently faces charges of defeating the ends of justice, perjury, and unlawful possession of a firearm, related to an alleged staged assassination attempt in Vosloorus in November 2025.
