As the UK resets its relationship with China, questions remain over how to balance economic cooperation with political differences.
Former Culture Minister Lord Ed Vaizey, who once oversaw Britain's engagement with China's telecoms giant Huawei, says the policy shift came, in part, under pressure from Washington.
He told CGTN correspondent Li Jianhua that it's time to return to a more "normal" trading relationship, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.
