Evidence Leader to read Medicare24 CEO's evidence directly into record despite absence

Medicare24 CEO, Mike van Wyk is seeking to postpone his testimony before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on 22 June 2026.

The formal request emerged over the weekend following intense public scrutiny.

Because the Madlanga Commission only has about 30 days left of hearings, Chief Evidence Leader Advocate Matthew Chaskalson SC proposed reading Van Wyk's evidence directly into the record despite his absence.
